Jacqueline Calderin, an attorney and founding member of Ehrenstein Charbonnea­u Calderin, was recently appointed to serve on the board of directors of the New World School of the Arts Foundation, an organizati­on dedicated to supporting New World School of the Arts High School’s programs. Gov. Rick Scott has appointed Barbara Miedema, vice president of public affairs and communicat­ions at the Sugar Cane Growers Cooperativ­e of Florida, to the five-member Palm Beach State College District Board of Trustees. She replaces attorney William Berger, a PBSC trustee since 2007, whose most recent term had expired. Miedema’s appointmen­t runs from to May 31, 2019.
