A majority of Florida registered voters don’t approve of President Donald Trump’s performance.

His handling of the presidency is disapproved by 51 percent, with 44 percent expressing approval, which is a net negative of 7 points.

The Florida poll shows a big partisan split over presidential performance. Among Democrats, 82 percent disapprove and just 15 percent approve. Among Republicans 78 percent approve and 18 percent disapprove. The gap isn't as large among no party affiliation/independent voters, with 41 percent approving and 54 percent disapproving.

There’s also a notable gender gap. Florida men approve of Trump’s performance, 51 percent to 45 percent, which is a positive 6 points. Women feel differently, with 39 percent approving and 57 percent disapproving, which is a negative 18 points.
