Piper junior gets multiple scholarship offers

Broward cornerback Bryand Rincher picked up another football scholarship offer from Tulane this week.

Temple, USF and FAU are among other offers for the Piper junior, who last spring won the 100 meters in 10.67 at the Florida Class 4A championships.

Elsewhere, ChaminadeMadonna junior running back Keyondre White (5-foot-10, 210 pounds), who forms an explosive one-two backfield punch with Auburn commit Shaun Shivers, has committed to Akron.

"I plan to visit in the summer," White said in a direct message. Chaminade lost to Trinity Christian in the 3A state championship game in December.

"The football program itself pushed some great players into the league and later after their careers they went on to be sucessful," White said of the MAC program.

American Heritage-Delray senior K/P Billy Mitchell III has committed to Army . ... American Heritage-Plantation junior DE Andrew Chatfield picked up an SEC offer from Arkansas . ... Cardinal Gibbons junior DB Maxwell Worship added a Big Ten offer from Indiana . ... Dante Lang, a 2018 defensive end at Boca Raton, reports receiving his seventh scholarship offer — this one from Pitt — on Wednesday.

Transfer season

Junior Legend Moore, who played QB at Hallandale in the fall, announced via Twitter he is transferring to Miami Carol City.

The move follows the resignation of Chargers coach Benedict Hyppolite, who will reportedly take over at Carol City.

Moore has offers from UCF and Northern Illinois.

Junior defensive end/linebacker Dantae Banton announced he is leaving McArthur for Boyd Anderson.

Junior defensive backs Kenih Lovely and Dequan Walker have both transferred from Dwyer to Palm Beach Gardens. A three-star prospect, Lovely picked up an offer from Kentucky in January.

Heritage hires coach

American Heritage-Delray hired Oxbridge Academy assistant Antwan Harrington as its new boys basketball coach this week. Harrington takes over for Brandon McThay, who resigned in February after going 7-23 in two seasons with the school.
