Motorcyclist killed in collision

A 25-year-old Hollywood man died after his motorcycle collided with a sedan in Dania Beach, according to authorities.

Mitchell Mustain was heading south on Federal Highway past Dania Beach Boulevard just before 1 p.m. Saturday as James Minard was leaving a parking lot.

Minard, 69, of Jupiter, was turning to go north when his Cadillac sedan was hit by Mustain’s motorcycle.

Mustain attempted to stop but hit the driver’s side of the Cadillac.

Mustain was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood where he was pronounced dead. Minard was not injured.
