Missing beach items resurface after note

- Spencer Stone, Hillsboro Beach Donna Lawrence, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea John Gore, Lauderdale Lakes

I live at Hillsboro Beach and frequently walk the beach with my handweights, and then leave them on the beach when I go into the water. A week ago while swimming deep in the ocean, I noticed a couple stop at my beach spot and pick up something. When I came out of the water, my handweights were gone. I then walked the beach south, in the direction that the couple were walking, hoping to find them somewhere but no luck.

So, I decided to tack this note: “Not everything on the beach is finders’ keepers” on every building south of me. Low and behold, I got a call from a lovely lady receptionist at The Landmark telling me that my handweights were there at the front desk.

So my thanks to the good Samaritan who returned them. My faith has been restored, as I hope restored to all who read this letter. the issues confronting the world today.

ISIS, one of the most dangerous threats ever to mankind, has astutely referred to him as an idiot. They are not alone on this observation. We were once respected on the world stage as being able to lead with intelligent, appropriate decisions regarding threats of all kinds. We are now being tested by dangerous governments because of the extreme lack of experience of the president and all who advise him. We are not safe as a nation with Trump in the White House — whether that is in Washington, D.C., or in Palm Beach.

It is one thing to just be humiliated by him daily. It is another to allow him to jeopardize our lives. Trump’s impeachment.
