Spring into fun

Family activities abound this weekend.

It’s Easter weekend, which means sunrise services and family brunches for many families in South Florida on Sunday.

It’s also the last chance for egg hunts and visits with the bunny. Many malls continue to offer photo packages with Mr. Bunny through Saturday, and events such as Bunny Palooza at Miami Seaquarium (miamiseaqu­arium .com), Easter at Jungle Island (jungleisla­nd.com) and the Egg Safari at Zoo Miami (zoomiami.org) continue through Sunday.

■ Gulfstream Park’s Spring Extravagan­za is today. Experience free, outdoor fun with an Easter Bunny meet and greet, DJ, face painting, balloon artists, games, dancing, sing-alongs and giveaways. 6-9 p.m. at Champions Plaza at Gulfstream Park, 901 S. ■ There is also an Egg Hunt Triathlon and Duathlon on Saturday. Race spectators can participat­e in a variety of family-friendly activities, including an Easter egg hunt. ■ The Model Steam Train Rides are this
