Ramps, roads, rails to reroute drivers

A new bouquet of roadblocks will bloom in May.

Boca Raton: The entrance ramp from westbound Yamato Road to northbound Interstate 95 will undergo a full closure between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Monday and Tuesday.

The entrance ramp from eastbound Yamato Road to southbound I-95 will close overnights, as needed, today through Thursday.

In both cases, motorists will be detoured via Congress Avenue.

The northbound I-95 exit ramp to Congress Avenue will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Motorists will be detoured via Linton Boulevard.

Pembroke Pines: The northbound Interstate 75, Exit 11A ramp to eastbound Sheridan Street will be closed from 11 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday.

Drivers can use Exit 11B and make a U-turn at Southwest 162nd Avenue to go east on Sheridan.

The Exit 11B ramp to westbound Sheridan Street will be closed from 11 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday.

Motorists can take Exit 11A and make a U-turn at Flamingo Road to go west on Sheridan.

Fort Lauderdale: Installing overhead sign structures will close all lanes of State Road 84 from 11 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday, between Southwest 30th Avenue and 26th Terrace.

Drivers can take either road to Southwest 36th Street to bypass the roadblock.

A month of improvemen­ts to Southeast 15th Avenue between Broward and Las Olas boulevards starts Monday with a 10-day road closure before the next phase begins.

The project includes adding dedicated left-turn lanes, expanding intersecti­ons, modifying traffic signals, creating safer pedestrian crosswalks, and installing new storm water drainage. .

Hollywood: The Florida East Coast Railway crossing at Harrison Street will be closed continuous­ly from 7 a.m. Wednesday to 6 p.m. May 7.

The crossing is being upgraded for the Brightline express passenger trains.
