Former marketing executive returns to roots at Hair Club
Lee Zoppa recently rejoined Hair Club as vice president of marketing and advertising, based at the corporate office in Boca Raton. She previously held the same position at the company from early 2008 to mid-2013. Before rejoining the company, Zoppa was vice president of brand management, Atlantic Coast Brands headquartered in Jersey City, N.J. She feels as though she has returned home to a company that is open to new creative approaches, employs passionate workers and maintains a supportive and positive workplace.
About: For more than 40 years, Hair Club has provided hair restoration services to nearly 600,000 people. The company has grown to 117 centers, employing more than 1,100 licensed cosmetologists and trained hair loss experts. Clients are male and female, of any age or ethnicity, with any type or level of hair loss. On the job Incorporate new knowledge with industry wisdom: We continually test new creative approaches and different media channels to reach people who need our services. My years of experience in the beauty and image enhancement industry and in direct response advertising make me a good fit for this role. I meet, interview, photograph and film our clients for testimonials. I lead the marketing team, which is responsible for attracting new consumers, via multiple advertising channels from broadcast TV to digital to direct mail and more.
Stay nimble: While I was gone, the company launched a product that involves new technology and advance application techniques. So, the learning curve here is complex and constant, since our solutions are customized to each client.
Focus the message: Marketing is both an art and a science. Listen to what people need and want, and provide it to them when they want it, in the way they prefer to receive the communication. We will be launching a re-designed website before the end of the year that will incorporate the ability for people to write and submit reviews.
