Editorial should be required reading

Tuesday’s guest editorial from the Washington Post — “Will Confederate monuments keep coming down in the South?” — was wonderful to read. Statues honoring a feudal system that glorifies slavery and the dissolution of the United States is offensive to me, and most people I know. If it’s important to some people to view these statues, set up a program to fund a special private park or private museum that would display these statues.
