ATM visit leads to robbery
A man making a late night run to a drive-thru ATM in his SUV lost his vehicle, wallet, credit card and personal identification number to a thief, according to Boynton Beach police.
The 25-year-old man told police he drove up to the ATM at 555 N. Congress Ave. in his gold, 2004 Chevy Blazer about 11 p.m. Monday and — while his card was inside the machine — a man put a gun to his chest and demanded the card and his PIN.
The gunman and an accomplice forced the man out of his SUV and drove away with it and the other items, police said.
The SUV has a Florida tag Y43 HDB.
