The setting also incorporates an oldschool butcher shop with antibiotic- and hormone-free custom cuts, an Eastern European-inspired restaurant and a German-style covered beer garden.

Beer bratwurst ($9) is their family recipe, and tuna poke ($14) and tuna burgers ($15) are exclusive to the new location. Other highlights include Polish pierogies ($7), hot German pretzels with cheddar-béchamel sauce ($8) and German apple strudel ($9).

Betsy, a life-size cow statue, beckons near the entrance, leading to white concrete walls, subway tiles, TVs showing sports, communal and round tables and self-serve 3-liter beer towers.

Lunch and dinner are served daily, plus weekend brunch. Live music is in the works.
