Federal, state, county and municipal offices will be open Monday and closed Tuesday.

Public schools, colleges and universities will be closed.

Services

Banks, stock markets and post offices will be open Monday and closed Tuesday. There will be no regular mail delivery on Tuesday.

Broward County Animal Care and Adoption Center will be closed. In the event of animal attack or bite, call 911. For lost or found cats or dogs, call 954-359-1313, Ext. 9273.

The Broward County Landfill at 7101 SW 205th Ave., Fort Lauderdale, will be closed Tuesday.

There will be garbage pickup.

Entertainment

The county library system will be open Monday and closed Tuesday.

Broward County regional and neighborhood parks, nature centers and natural areas will be open, with the exception of Deerfield Island Park, which will be closed per normal operating schedule.

Transportation

Shopping

Publix and Winn Dixie grocery stores will be open.

Individual store hours may vary: Coral Ridge Mall, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.; Coral Square Mall, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.; Festival Flea Market Mall in Pompano Beach, 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.; The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.; Sawgrass Mills, 9:30 a.m. – 10 p.m.; Pembroke Lakes Mall, noon – 6 p.m.; and Westfield Broward (Broward Mall), 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
