AVENTURA — Luxury brokerage ONE Sotheby’s International Realty announced today it acquired Turnberry International Realty.

The Aventura-based boutique real estate company, owned by George Perez and led by managing broker Seth Kaufman, will be absorbed into the daily operations of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty, according to a news release.

The acquisition adds Turnberry’s 100 agents to the group, as well as a kiosk at Aventura Mall that served as a pop-up sales center.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Kaufman will continue to lead the Aventura, Sunny Isles and Bay Harbour offices as ONE Sotheby’s managing broker. Perez will serve as business development consultant.

“We’ve received multiple offers from other brokerage firms, so the decision came down to what firm would best benefit our client base and agents; ONE Sotheby’s International Realty’s national and international network sealed the deal for us,” Perez said.

“The acquisition makes [ONE Sotheby’s International Realty] possibly the largest brokerage firm in the Aventura area in terms of market share and sales volume,” said Daniel de la Vega, president of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty.

ONE Sotheby’s International Realty, which specializes in sales in Broward and Miami-Dade counties, was founded in 2008. It is expected to acquire two more brokerage firms by the end of the summer.
