Broward County Government/ Schools

Federal, state, county and municipal offices are closed.

Public schools, colleges and universities are closed.

Services

Banks, stock markets and post offices are closed. There will be no regular mail delivery.

Broward County Animal Care and Adoption Center is closed. In the event of animal attack or bite, call 911. For lost or found cats or dogs, call 954-359-1313, ext. 9273.

The Broward County Landfill at 7101 SW 205th Ave., Fort Lauderdale, is closed.

There will be garbage pickup.

Entertainment

The county library system is closed.

Broward County regional and neighborhood parks, nature centers and natural areas are open, with the exception of Deerfield Island Park, which is closed per normal operating schedule.

Transportation

Shopping

Publix and Winn Dixie grocery stores are open. Individual store hours may vary: Coral Ridge mall, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.; Coral Square mall, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.; Festival Flea Market mall in Pompano Beach, 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.; The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.; Sawgrass Mills, 9:30 a.m. – 10 p.m.; Pembroke Lakes Mall, noon – 6 p.m.; and Westfield Broward (Broward Mall), 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Palm Beach County Government/ Schools
