The Heat have added former University of Miami guard Trey McKinneyJones to their roster for the Las Vegas summer league, where they will open play Saturday with an 8 p.m. Eastern game against a similar group of young players from the San Antonio Spurs.

After going undrafted in 2013, McKinney-Jones played in the D-League, as well as France, Israel and Hungary. He previously played for the Heat in the 2014 Orlando Pro Summer League.

The Heat are anticipating adding Hammons to their roster in Las Vegas, while continuing on with the entire roster that finished 0-5 in the Orlando summer league.

The expectation is that first-round pick Bam Adebayo and forward Okaro White could be limited in their play in Las Vegas after four games of action in Orlando.

The Heat had been scheduled to depart Orlando on Thursday following their loss in an 8 a.m. game, but the flight was canceled with a 3 a.m. wake-up call required for Friday flights.

The Heat will play at least five games in Las Vegas, including additional round-robin play at 4:30 p.m. Monday against the Washington Wizards and Tuesday against the Dallas Mavericks, before tournament play begins.
