Led by Arts Encounter Margery Gordon, each hourlong tour, which takes place twice a month, will provide visitors and Miami denizens a look at the various artworks nestled within the 18-block neighborhood. Overall, there are 30 pieces of art in the area among city streets and shops.

Among the pieces in the tour: John Baldessari’s “Fun (Part 1)” and “Fun (Part 2)”; Xavier Veilhan’s “Le Corbusier” and Buckminster Fuller Fly’s Eye Dome.

The goal behind the tours is provide visitors a “comprehensive look at how art and design elevate and enhance our public spaces,’’ according to a release.

The first tour is planned for 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Moore Building, 4040 NE 2nd Ave. The second tour takes place 6 p.m. Sept. 27 at Jungle Plaza, 3801 NE 1st Ave.

The tours coincide with the Miami Design District’s Family Day activities which take place on the second Sunday of each month, and the Miami Design Distrcit’s farmer’s market which happens on the last Wednesday of each month.
