Palm Beach State job fairs to feature 75 employers

October events set for Boca Raton and Palm Beach Gardens

A wide variety of local employers are scheduled for two Palm Beach State College job fairs in October. The fairs, which are free and open to the public, include full- and part-time positions, and internship opportunit­ies, the college says.

More than 75 employers are scheduled to attend the fairs, which will take place Oct. 5 at the college’s Palm Beach Gardens campus and Oct. 17 at the Boca Raton campus near Florida Atlantic University.

The Oct. 5 job fair will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at the BioScience Technology Complex, Rooms SC 127 and 161, at 3160 PGA Blvd., Palm Beach Gardens.

The Oct. 17 job fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Humanities and Technology Building, HT 103, at 801 Palm Beach State College Drive, in Boca Raton.

Employers scheduled for the Palm Beach Gardens hiring event include: Allied Universal Healthcare, Beall’s Outlet Stores, Comcast Cable, city of Fort Lauderdale Police Department, Florida Highway Patrol, Modernizin­g Medicine, Ross Stores, Total Wine & Co., St. Mary’s Hospital, and The Home Depot..

Employers scheduled for the Boca Raton hiring event include: Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Mizner Country Club, Modernizin­g Medicine, NCCI Holdings, PhysAssist Scribes and TBS Corp.

Admission representa­tives from four-year colleges and universiti­es also will be available at the Boca Raton event to discuss transfer and bachelor’s degree options.
