MIAMI — It will be a reunion in terms of logo and former coach but little else for Kelly Olynyk and Jordan Mickey when the Miami Heat forwards face the Boston Celtics on Saturday night at AmericanAirlines Arena.

The two who left Boston as free agents in the offseason were part of a massive makeover that has only four Celtics still with the team from last season: Al Horford, Marcus Smart, Terry Rozier and Jaylen Brown.

“It’s a different squad, but it’s still the Celtics,” Olynyk said after Friday’s practice. “They’ve still got [Brad] Stevens at the top, the same people up there. It’s going to be fun.”

Olynyk spent four seasons with the Celtics, Mickey two.

“It’s part of the business, guys come, guys go, but it’s still the team that drafted me and the team I played for for two years,” Mickey said. “Nothing weird for me. It’s part of the game.

“Just another team. I just go out there and play the game. Nothing personal.”

It will be Olynyk first time since high school that he will face a former team.

“It’s fun,” he said. “It kind of gives you a little extra excitement and purpose for the game.”

Olynyk acknowledged he still is adjusting to his new home.”I’m getting more settled, getting a little better,” he said. “The hurricane throws you off. It’s kind of like the snow storm in Boston in January in my rookie year. It takes the air out of the environment. But I’m back settled. I got a place. It’s awesome down here, great weather. I can’t complain.

“It’s something different. It’s something to enjoy. Who knows when you’ll be able to live in a place like this again? It’s uplifting to walk outside every morning. Your bones and your joints feel warm and the sun is shining.” played today, sometimes if you try to stand your ground and try to resist and you go into them, now they flop and now it’s your fault.

“So why take the risk? It’s a turnover, it’s your ball, and now you’re going the other way.”

Olynyk has drawn five charges this season. Center Willie Reed, who signed as a free agent in the offseason with the Los Angeles Clippers, led the Heat with nine last season.

The only player other than Olynyk to draw a charge this season has been Tyler Johnson, who has drawn one.
