After selling her a hoverboard, a 26-year-old Miami man arranged for the buyer, a 14-year-old girl, to meet him in a men’s restroom at a Pembroke Pines park for sex, police said.

But when Lawrence Henry Perry arrived at Paul J. Maxwell Park Tuesday, he was met and arrested by an undercover detective who had posed as the girl.

After his arrest, Perry confessed to police.

“I was going to meet a child,” he said, acknowledging that his actions were wrong.

He needed a “release,” Perry told police because his fiancee was pregnant with their third child and “she was extremely hormonal,” a police report said.

Perry has been jailed and is being held on $57,000 bond for allegedly using a computer to seduce, lure and entice a child, among other charges, records show.

After the girl responded to an online ad for the sale of the hoverboard, Perry went to her home on Nov. 10 to sell it to her.

After he left, he texted her a licking-lips emoji, inquired about her age and asked for her to send him a photo of herself, a police report said.

From there the text conversation devolved into crude sex talk.

When the girl told Perry she was only 14, he wanted to know if she had ever performed oral sex.

She responded “that’s scary to me” and he followed up by sending the girl a photo of his erect penis, the report said.

That’s when the girl turned to her parents who called police.

An undercover detective posed as the girl and resumed text communications with Perry.

Perry offered to teach the girl how to perform oral sex and sent additional photos of his penis, the report said.

Then he started pushing to meet her.

Perry arranged for the girl to meet him in the men’s restroom at the park, 1200 SW 72nd Avenue, north of Pembroke Road and west of Florida’s Turnpike.

He was arrested after he texted the girl to tell her he had arrived, the report said.
