Singletary led the conference in rushing with 1,796 yards and scored a nation-leading 29 touchdowns. The touchdown total is also a Conference USA record.

Bain, Woods and Fernandez became the first offensive line trio in league history from the same team to make the first team.

A junior, Young was tied for the national lead with seven interceptions, and Lewis had four interceptions and 47 tackles. The duo helped the Owls pick off a school-record 20 interceptions.

Al-Shaair, the team captain, led the conference with 134 tackles. The total ranked sixth nationally.

Tight end Harrison Bryant, who missed the final two games because of a foot injury, was the Owls’ only second-team choice. Quarterback Jason Driskel, running back Gregory Howell Jr. and defensive linemen Steven Leggett, Leighton McCarthy, Hunter Snyder and Jeremiah Taleni were all honorable mention.

The selections were a reflection of the Owls’ historic season. They went undefeated in conference play and won 10 games for the second time in school history. FAU will conclude the year by playing against Akron in the Boca Raton Bowl.
