Minto enters final sales phase of Artesia in Sunrise
SUNRISE — Minto Communities is closing out sales for its 76-acre Artesia development in Sunrise, with prices starting in the $500,000s for “Sky Villas” that contain four- and five-bedroom designs.
The final phase contains 123 townhomes, pushing the total for the entire Artesia development to 837.
Based in Coconut Creek, Minto started Artesia in 2004 but halted the project amid the national housing market collapse. Construction on the final phase involving the villas started last year. Residences built in the first phase were courtyard homes.
Steve Svopa, a Minto vice president, called the four-story villas a first for the company. They include sky lofts, two-car garages, private backyards and screened-in penthouse terraces, and range in size from 2,797 to 3,089 square feet.
A two-story, common area clubhouse features a fitness center, sauna, spa and indoor multisport court. There also is a sports lounge, library, business center, kitchen and a room for hosting parties and watching
movies. Next door are a resort-style swimming pool, lap pool, tiki bar, tennis courts and a children’s play area.
“The homes are ideally suited for larger families and move-up buyers who need and can appreciate the additional space,” Svopa said.
The company said 31 villas remain for purchase, and Minto is offering $20,000 in interior upgrade options as an incentive to buyers.
The development is across from the sprawling Sawgrass Mills shopping complex and near the BB&T Center. It is also close to Florida’s Turnpike and Interstates 75, 595 and 95, as well as the Metropica mixed-use retail, residential and office project.
The Artesia sales center is at 12550 NW 29th Manor, Sunrise. For more information, call 844-891-0651 or visit TourSkyVillas.com.
