Job fairs will take place in March and April to hire 200 workers

Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants, opening in Pembroke Pines, is conducting job fairs in March and April.

Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants is opening its ninth Florida location in Pembroke Pines and conducting job fairs in March and April to hire 200 workers.

The restaurant, which features a Napa Valley-style tasting room and its own wines made from grapes around the world, is hiring for full- and part-time positions including for servers, line cooks, bartenders and tasting room attendants. The new location is expected to open April 30.

Cooper’s Hawk said it will have hiring fairs over the next six weeks: On March 19 and 20, and then again on April 2 and 3. The hiring events will be from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at a hiring trailer set up near 10310 Pines Blvd., at the Pines City Center on the southwest corner of Pines Boulevard and Northwest 103rd Avenue.

Job applicants will have the opportunity to apply in person and meet the management team, Cooper’s Hawk said. But applicants are encouraged to schedule an interview in advance by texting CHPEM to 77948.

In South Florida, there are Cooper’s Hawk restaurants in Palm Beach Gardens, Coconut Creek and Doral.

Based in Woodridge, Ill., Cooper’s Hawk said it produces more than 5 million bottles per year, making it the 34th largest winery in the United States.

The Pembroke Pines site will mark Cooper’s Hawk 31st location for the expanding restaurant group, which also can be found in Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin.
