The massive March for Our Lives event in Washington, D.C., will be getting a lot of star power.

Boca Raton’s Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato will be taking part in the March 24 event, Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting survivor and student leader David Hogg announced Wednesday night on CNN during Anderson Cooper’s show.

“They’re gonna be standing there with us and marching with us and they’re some of the few people that are really coming out and stepping up with us,” Hogg told the network.

On a Twitter posting Wednesday, Hudson said that she’s inspired by the students and their community activism after the Feb. 14 Parkland shooting that killed 17 people. “I stand with you and raise my voice with yours,” her tweet said.

More than 500,000 people are expected to converge on Washington for the march.

Last week, the cast of ABC’s “Modern Family,” which includes Sofia Vergara and Julie Bowen, said they’re supporting the march and would take part.

They join other celebrities, including Jimmy Fallon and George and Amal Clooney, who also have said that they would take part in the walk.

The Clooneys pledged a $500,000 donation for the event. Oprah Winfrey, who has called the Parkland students “warriors of the light,” said she would match the Clooneys’ $500,000 donation for the event.

Celebrity couple John Legend and Chrissy Teigen said they were donating $25,000 to the demonstration.

And this week, Miami Heat player Dwyane Wade and his wife, actress Gabrielle Union, pledged $200,000 for students from his Chicago hometown to attend the march.

On the same day, similar events are planned across South Florida for people who want to march but won’t be able to travel to the nation’s capital. Locations include Boca Raton, Coral Springs, Fort Lauderdale, Miami Beach, Parkland and Key West.
