Job fairs are scheduled Wednesday in Miramar and Miami Lakes.

Employers including UTC Aerospace Systems, Service Corp. International, Humana, City Furniture and a Miami Beach hotel will be offering thousands of positions during a job fair Wednesday, according to the organizer, Job News USA.

The job fair is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Shula’s Hotel and Golf Club, 6842 Main St., Miami Lakes.

Also Wednesday, Comcast is having a job fair for 75 call-center jobs.

UTC Aerospace Systems is adding 75 positions at its Miami Gardens operation, including for aerospace/aviation assembly technician, disassembly technician, manual machinist, plating technician, engineering and quality assurance.

Funeral service company Service Corp. International has 10 openings for sales professionals in Miami, and health insurer Humana is looking to fill 40 telesales specialist positions.

The Palm Hotel & Spa/Circa 39 in Miami Beach has a wide variety of jobs including for line cook, security, mini bar attendant, dishwashers, pastry cook, bellman, reservation agent, host/hostess, banquet on-call bartender, housekeeping, and several beach and spa positions.

Shula’s Hotel is hiring for room attendants, part-time front desk, housekeepers, sales and marketing coordinator, reservations agent, Kids Club attendant and housekeeping porter. Shula’s Golf Club is hiring for a golf ranger and golf cart attendant.

Retailer City Furniture has more than 90 positions at its headquarters and store in Tamarac, as well as other locations. They include sales associates for City and Ashley HomeStores, operations supervisor, delivery drivers, warehouse associates, fleet mechanic, and call-center customer service positions.

Comcast will conduct a job fair Wednesday in Miramar for 75 inbound sales representative jobs at its South Florida call centers. The job fair will take place in two sessions — 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., or 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. — at Comcast, 2601 SW 145th Ave., Suite 100, Miramar.

The cable TV provider is seeking English-speaking job candidates as well as bilingual candidates who speak English and Spanish. Pay varies according to experience, with commission incentives available, Comcast said.
