Avra Jain, founder of Vagabond Group LLC and a Miami real estate developer, has listed her former residence in the Venetian Islands, which she fully renovated, for $8.95 million. Allen Davoudpour and Filippo Incorvaia with Douglas Elliman Real Estate have the listing.

Jain built the 5,634-square-foot gated home, at 608 W. Dilido Drive, Miami Beach, in 2003, but recently renovated it. It has five bedrooms, five full and one half bathrooms. Features include a floor-to-ceiling glass wine cellar; chef’s kitchen with Italian cabinets by Scavolini and top-of-theline appliances by Gaggenau; elegant bathrooms and finishes that include Italian porcelain tile on the main level and American white-oak engineered wood flooring upstairs, as well as Italian matte-lacquered doors by Bertolotto.

The contemporary two-story home has extensive smart-home features, including August Smart Locks, Nest thermostats and security cameras, a Lutron Caseta wireless lighting system, and a home-automation system compatible with Amazon Alexa.

Outside, there’s a climate-controlled swimming pool, waterside patio and lawn for entertaining, and boat dockage with direct access to Biscayne Bay. Due to its

location near the northern end of Dilido Island, the property offers views of the bay and Miami cityscape.

“We were one of the first to build a modern house on the Venetian Islands, back in 2003,” Jain said. “Now they’re everywhere.”

The Venetian Islands, very popular with buyers today, are a chain of six man-made islands in Miami and Miami Beach in Biscayne Bay.

Jain is just finishing up a full-gut renovation of the house. “Everything inside is brand-new,” she said. “At first, I thought I would let someone buy and fix it up to their taste, but in Miami, people really like for it to be turnkey. And this is what I do.”

She said the house would appeal either to a primary owner or to someone seeking a vacation home.

“You can’t find anything of this caliber — a newerbuilt home — at this price point in the Venetians,” said Davoudpour, an Elliman real estate agent who works out of the firm’s Aventura office. “This is going to move very quickly.”

Jain, a well-known Miami developer, is currently working on an adaptive reuse project, converting an old warehouse building near Midtown Miami to office space.
