The customer communications management technology, document delivery, and electronic bill presentment and payment solutions company, Nordis Technologies, has named Paul Sykes as chief operating officer and chief financial officer, in Coral Springs. For 20 years, Sykes worked at DMG Information, the U.S.-based private equity unit of London’s Daily Mail and General Trust plc., where he was most recently chief financial officer.

Michael Mendillo has been appointed to the newly created position of managing director of Slow Burn Theatre. Mendillo joins the 9-year-old nonprofit from the Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida, where he was director of development.

Four banking professionals have joined Marlifestyle quis Bank to lead the bank’s expansion into Broward County with a loan production office and a new branch in Fort Lauderdale.The new team will be headed by Steven Sanzone, who joins Marquis as market president after spending the last 14 years as executive vice president and senior loan officer at Stonegate Bank. Senior Vice President and Commercial Lending Officer Mark Huard will be responsible for developing business and commercial real estate relationships in Broward and Palm Beach counties. Huard has held similar positions at Stonegate Bank, Community Bank of Broward and Union Planters Bank. Thomas Kester, chief nursing officer of Broward Health Medical Center. Previously, Kester worked at Broward Health Imperial Point as CNO/COO. He was also the hospital’s regional director of surgical services. Prior to that, he was manager of surgical services at Holy Cross Hospital for four years. Lee Mandel, director of the South Florida Sinus & Allergy Center, and director of the South Florida Snoring and Sleep Center; and immediate-past president of the Florida Society of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, was recently named a Fellow of the American Rhinologic Society.
