The Marlins will turn back the clock to 1993 ticket prices for the franchise’s 25th Anniversary Weekend celebration June 8-10 at Marlins Park.

Tickets will be $4 in the Vista level — the same price as an adult general admission ticket for the inaugural Opening Day in 1993 — during the three-game series against the Padres in which the Marlins will wear original teal pinstripe throwback uniforms.

The anniversary weekend will feature former Marlins players, coaches and managers making appearances throughout the ballpark for autograph signings, selfie stations and other activities. Among them: Charlie Hough, Charles Johnson, Liván Hernández, Luis Castillo and Édgar Rentería.

“I get letters every day from Marlins fans and people who say they were at the first game. I probably got 2 million letters from people who say they were at the first game,” Hough said in February when the Marlins announced plans for recognizing their 25th anniversary. He was the starting pitcher in the franchise’s first game on April 5, 1993.

The team is wearing a special patch displayed on their uniforms throughout this season.
