Braves RHP Mike Soroka (1-1, 4.50 ERA, 1.600 WHIP) vs. Marlins LHP Jarlin Garcia (1-1, 2.68 ERA, 0.973 WHIP): Garcia will be looking for a bounce back following his worst start of the season Monday night against the Cubs. In Chicago, Garcia served up three home runs as the Cubs scored seven runs in just four innings. He entered the start having allowed just four runs in his first 33 innings. Among qualified pitchers, Garcia still ranks near the top of the National League in ERA (ninth) and hits per nine innings (first, 5.1). He faced the Braves 10 times in relief last season, yielding three runs in 7 1⁄3 innings. … Soroka will be making his third career major-league start on Saturday and first against the Marlins. The 20-year-old right-hander is considered one of the top 30 prospects after he was selected in the first round of the 2015 draft. In his last start Sunday against the Giants, Soroka gave up four runs in four innings. He throws a 93-mph fastball, an 87-mph slider and an 83-mph changeup.
