■ Brewers: Travis Shaw, Domingo Santana, Christian Yelich and Tyler Saladino homered off Matt Koch in an 8-2 win over the Diamondbac­ks.

■ Phillies: Nick Pivetta tied a career-high with 11 strikeouts during an overpoweri­ng performanc­e in a 4-1 win over the Orioles. Pivetta (3-2) won his second straight start, allowing one run, two hits and one walk in seven innings.

■ Rays: C.J. Cron extended his on-base streak to 22 games while homering and scoring three runs in a 5-3 victory over Royals to help complete a three-game sweep . ... OF Carlos Gomez landed on the disabled list with a strained right groin.

■ Blue Jays: LHP J.A. Happ reached base three times and allowed only two baserunner­s over seven innings in a 12-1 rout of the Mets. Happ struck out 10 while pitching two-hit ball. He also singled twice and walked in his first multihit game since 2011 when he was with the Astros.

■ Rangers: A week shy of his 45th birthday, Bartolo Colon gave up four hits in 7 2 ⁄ shutout 3 innings in a 5-1 win over the Mariners.

■ Reds: 1B Joey Votto apologized for saying he doesn’t care about Canadian baseball after being asked about James Paxton’s recent no-hitter. Votto said he is “terribly ashamed” of his comments on a podcast . ... Matt Harvey allowed three runs in four innings in his second start since joining the Reds from the Mets in a 6-3 win over the Giants.

■ Twins: C Jason Castro will miss the rest of the season following surgery to repair the meniscus in his right knee. Castro tore his meniscus, was operated Tuesday by Dr. Richard Steadman and had been expected to be sidelined for four to six weeks.

■ Cardinals: Dexter Fowler reached base four times and drove in two runs in a 7-5 win over the Twins. Fowler, who entered hitting .146, had a two-run single in the first in just his second start in five games . ... Reliever Luke Gregerson landed on the DL with a right shoulder impingemen­t.
