Single-game tickets go on sale Wednesday

The Florida Panthers announced three season-long promotions at BB&T Center as well as their schedule of theme nights for the upcoming 2018-19 season.

Additional­ly, single-game tickets for home games will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, the team announced today. Single-game tickets can be purchased at Ticketmast­er.com or at the BB&T Center box office during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.)

Every Thursday home game will be ‘$5 Beer Thursdays,’ where select brews will be specially priced.

Further, each Friday home game will be a ‘Flashback Friday.’ Giveaway items themed based on the 1990s will go to the first 10,000 fans at each ‘Flashback Friday,’ including fanny packs, slap bracelets and jelly visors.

Saturdays at BB&T Center will see the return of Panthers alumni for ‘Legacy Saturdays.’ Special guests, historical content and more will allow fans to celebrate the history of the Cats. For a full schedule, please visit FloridaPan­thers.com.

The Panthers will open their 25th Anniversar­y season at home against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Oct. 11. The first 10,000 fans in the building will receive a magnetic schedule, courtesy of Fox Sports Florida.

Additional theme nights include: Halloween theme, Oct. 20 vs. Detroit Red Wings; Hockey Fights Cancer, Nov. 30, vs. Buffalo Sabres; Star Wars, Dec. 1, vs. Tampa Bay Lightning; Military Appreciati­on, Jan. 18, vs. Toronto Maple Leafs; Pride Night, Feb. 1 vs. Nashville Predators; Stanley C. Panther’s Birthday presented by BB&T, March 2 vs. Carolina Hurricanes; St. Patrick’s Day Celebratio­n, March 10 vs. Detroit Red Wings; Panther Conservati­on Night, March 23 vs. Boston Bruins; Autism Awareness Night, presented by South Florida Ford April 1 vs. Washington Capitals.
