MIAMI — Think the Miami Heat have had difficulty drawing top-tier talent to South Florida? Think again.

While Pat Riley has come up short in free agency in recent years, with Kevin Durant and Gordon Hayward bypassing Heat overtures, Miami still holds significant allure to NBA players, even in the swelter of summer.

A video that spread across social media Tuesday not only featured the Heat’s Kelly Olynyk, Tyler Johnson, James Johnson and Bam Adebayo putting in their typical offseason due diligence at AmericanAirlines Arena, but also several NBA rivals taking to the facility’s main court.

Among those who were hosted by the Heat for the session were Durant, James Harden, Kyrie Irving, Terry Rozier, Shaun Livingston, Marcus Morris and Markieff Morris.

The run last week was a continuation of NBA offseason workouts from earlier this summer in Miami’s pro-am circuit, games that also included the Heat’s Hassan Whiteside, Wayne Ellington and Briante Weber.

Heat players have been working out recently at AmericanAirlines Arena and area gyms in advance of training camp, with 19 players under contract, one shy of the league’s offseason maximum.

The Heat open training camp Sept. 25, following media day at AmericanAirlines Arena. The Heat begin the preseason Sept. 30 on the road against the San Antonio Spurs and start the regular season Oct. 17 against the Orlando Magic at the Amway Center.
