Derohn King turned in a royal performance as the Deerfield Beach High School junior quarterback tossed touchdown passes on the first three series of the game as the state's top-ranked Class 8A Bucks went on to rout visiting Blanche Ely, 46-0. He finished 9 of 15 for 210 yards and the three scores to highlight the Week 4 top performers for Broward and Palm Beach counties.

KYLE WALTERS | PLANTATION

The senior running back carried 18 times for 125 yards and a touchdown as the Colonels topped defending District 12-8A champ Miramar 22-14 at home.

BRANDON HUDGINS | PALM BEACH CENTRAL

The senior defensive lineman led a solid defensive effort with eight tackles, including three for losses and three sacks, as the Broncos throttled visiting Wellington, 52-10.

JAYLAN KNIGHTON | DEERFIELD BEACH

The junior running back ran for 148 yards on 16 carries and scored on runs of 1 and 43 yards as the state’s top-ranked Class 8A team crushed Blanche Ely, 46-0.

MICHAEL PRATT | BOCA RATON

The junior quarterback was 11 for 16 for 197 yards and four TDs and also had three carries for 20 yards and a TD in a 51-0 win over Spanish River.

THADDIUS FRANKLIN | CHAMINADE-MADONNA The sophomore running back carried nine times for 95 yards and two touchdowns in one half of action in a 48-0 victory over Northeast.

JASON O’KEEFE | WEST BROWARD

The senior free safety had a team-leading 13 tackles in a 10-8 District 15-7A win victory over host Nova on Friday night.

BRYAN ROBINSON | PALM BEACH CENTRAL

The junior receiver the led Broncos with five catches for 181 yards and two TDs in a 52-10 victory over crosstown rival Wellington.

CEDQUAN SMITH | MIRAMAR

The freshman quarterback completed 18 of 32 passes for 252 yards and a touchdown in a 22-14 loss to Plantation.

MARK-ANTONY RICHARDS | WELLINGTON

The senior running back was one of the lone bright spots in the Wolverines’ loss at Palm Beach Central. He scored on an electrifying 65-yard run to give Wellington a short-lived 10-7 lead before the Broncos rolled. He finished with 83 yards rushing and 23 receiving and one score.

The junior quarterback connected on 10 of 21 passes for 202 yards and 4 TDs and added 4 rushes for 38 yards and one score as the Bengals defeated Douglas, 42-6.

COLBY DEMPSEY | DWYER

The junior cornerback had five tackles, two pass breakups and a 52-yard, pick-6 as the Panthers toppled Palm Beach Lakes, 41-13.

MYLES WILSON | WESTERN

The three-star senior defensive back had six tackles, two assists, one pass defended and an interception in the Wildcats’ 36-0 District 12-8A win over Everglades.

BRANDON SCHABERT | SEMINOLE RIDGE

The sophomore receiver caught 10 passes for 142 yards and all three TDs for the Hawks in a 21-14 overtime win over Palm Beach Gardens.

EDWIN RHODES | AMERICAN HERITAGE

The junior QB passed for 99 yards and one score and added 21 yards on the ground and another TD in a 40-0 win over Coconut Creek in the District 16-5A opener for both teams.

ANTONIO OUTLER | PALM BEACH GARDENS

The sophomore running back carried 26 times for 84 yards and two touchdowns in the team’s 21-14 overtime loss to Seminole Ridge.

NIK SCALZO | CARDINAL GIBBONS

The senior quarterback and Kentucky commit threw for 188 yards and a TD to lift host Cardinal Gibbons to a 16-6 win over Miami Jackson on Friday in the District 16-5A opener for both schools.

DEANTE NELSON | PAHOKEE

The senior receiver/cornerback caught three passes for 80 yards and one touchdown and added another score when he returned a punt 80 yards for a TD in the Blue Devils’ 34-10 victory over Cardinal Newman.

DARIUS MCCLENDON | FOREST HILL

The senior quarterback had 12 carries for 98 yards and two touchdowns as the Falcons downed Royal Palm Beach, 41-7, for their fourth straight win.

The senior running back finished with 105 yards rushing as the Lightning topped Pembroke Pines Charter 56-0 at home.

The senior running back carried 14 times for 126 yards and one score in a 42-7 victory over Monsignor Pace.

The senior running back ran for 72 yards and two scores in a 24-20 defeat at the hands of John Carroll Catholic (Fort Pierce).

JUSTIN WAKE | KING’S ACADEMY

The senior quarterback was 8 for 13 with 113 yards and two scores and added 67 yards on eight carries in a 37-0 win over Miami LaSalle.

The senior quarterback was 12 for 19 passing for 208 yards and one score in the Crusaders’ 34-10 loss to Pahokee.
