Senior running back Lavelton Williams led a potent 1-2 punch for American Heritage-Plantation in the running game as he carried the ball 20 times for 131 yards and two scores in a 31-21 win over Chaminade-Madonna to highlight the top performers for Broward and Palm Beach counties.

TYLER JONES | AMERICAN HERITAGE-PLANTATION The senior running back contributed to the Patriots’ 31-21 win with 20 carries of his own for 100 yards.

DEROHN KING | DEERFIELD BEACH

The junior quarterback was 11 for 17 passing for 153 yards and five TDs in one half of a a 55-6 victory over Coral Springs. He has 12 TDs in his past four games.

VAL CARNEGIE | SANTALUCES

The junior running back carried 23 times for 123 yards and two scores, including the game-winning, 7-yard TD run early in the fourth quarter, as the Chiefs stunned visiting Boca Raton, 22-17.

JAYLAN KNIGHTON | DEERFIELD BEACH

The junior running back had 10 carries for 239 yards and two scores in the first half of a 55-6 victory over Coral Springs.

JESSE RIVERA | WESTERN

The senior quarterback completed 18 of 25 passes for 314 yards and two TDs in a 38-19 win over Flanagan.

The senior safety helped spearhead a strong Broncos defensive effort with 10 tackles, including two for loss, and two passes defended in a 24-12 win over Palm Bay.

The senior wide receiver hauled in five passes for 163 yards in a key district win over Flanagan.

KALANI ILIMALEOTA | ATLANTIC

The senior quarterback threw for three touchdowns and the Eagles erased a first-half deficit and defeated host Park Vista, 21-7.
