There doesn’t seem to be any role in show biz that Whoopi Goldberg hasn’t tried on for size. Actress, singer and even talk-show host — she’s done it all. And the whole time, she’s kept doing standup comedy, the thing that shot her to fame in the early 1980s, with appearances peppered in her busy schedule.

Now, Goldberg is bringing her new standup show to South Florida. Goldberg is playing the Hard Rock Event Center at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood on April 26, 2019. You can buy tickets for the comedy concert by calling 800-745-3000 or going to MYHRL.com or Ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices for the show, which starts at 8 p.m., cost $45 to $125.

Goldberg is an EGOT winner, having triumphed with the grand slam of entertainment awards: two Emmys, one Grammy, one Oscar and one Tony. She also brought home the gold with two Golden Globes for “The Color Purple” and “Ghost” (the role that earned her an Academy Award).

On the big screen, she also has starred in “Sister Act,” “Boys on the Side,” “How Stella Got Her Groove Back” and “Girl, Interrupted.” On Nov. 2, she’ll appear in Tyler Perry’s movie comedy “Nobody’s Fool” with Tiffany Haddish.

On the small screen, she’s had roles in “Blue Bloods,” “Instinct” and “Star Trek: The Next Generation.” For the past 11 years, she has been the moderator of ABC’s “The View.”
