Guitar master bringing his tour to Fillmore Miami Beach in March.

Young guitar lion Gary Clark Jr. will perform March 9 at the Fillmore Miami Beach, an audience that may be among the first to hear music from Clark’s much-anticipate­d new album.

Advance general-admission tickets for the concert will cost $42.50 when they go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at LiveNation.com, by calling 800-745-3000, and at the Fillmore box office, 1700 Washington Ave. A limited number of reserved seats will be available for

$64.50.

Clark’s next album is said to be scheduled for release in early 2019. It will be his first studio album since 2015’s critically lauded “The Story of Sonny Boy Slim,” which produced a tour that brought Clark’s most recent South Florida performanc­e.

The Austin-raised Clark, 34, first burst onto the scene with the album “Blak and Blue” and the anointment as the future of blues-rock guitar by such luminaries as B.B. King and Eric Clapton.

The album peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, and he won a Grammy for the track “Please Come Home.”

Along with his Miami Beach tour stop on March 9, Clark is scheduled to be one of the headliners at the Gasparilla Music Festival in Tampa, a two-day event March 9-10. Other performers include the Avett Brothers and Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real.
