South Florida’s boat parades light up the holiday season

Winners of the Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade were announced Saturday night, after rows of yachts and boats decorated for the holidays sailed from Fort Lauderdale to Pompano Beach.

The boat parade celebrated its 47th year this season, with a procession of vessels that sailed a 12-mile route from downtown Fort Lauderdale to Lake Santa Barbara in Pompano Beach.
