Government/Schools

■ County governmental offices will be closed Dec. 24 and Dec. 25.

■ Public schools, colleges and universities will be closed Dec. 24 and Dec. 25.

■ The Circuit and County Courts and the Administrative Office of the Courts will be closed Dec. 24 and Dec. 25.

Services

■ The Florida Department Health in Broward County administrative offices, WIC offices and health centers, will be closed Dec. 24 and Dec. 25.

■ Broward County Animal Care and Adoption Center will be closed. In the event of animal attack or bite, call 911. For lost or found cats or dogs, call 954-359-1313, ext. 9273.

■ The Broward County Landfill at 7101 SW 205th Ave., Fort Lauderdale, will be closed.

■ There will be garbage pickup.

Entertainment

■ The county library system will be closed Dec. 24 and Dec. 25, with the exception of Nova Southeastern University, which will close at 6 p.m. on Dec. 24.

■ Broward County regional and neighborhood parks, nature centers and natural areas will be open Dec. 24 except for Everglades Holiday Park, which is open 24⁄7 year round. Special attractions such as AllGolf at C.B. Smith Park, Butterfly World at Tradewinds Park South, and Ski Rixen USA at Quiet Waters Park will also be open on Dec. 24; call the attraction for hours. All parks and attractions will be closed Dec. 25, except for Everglades Holiday Park and Ski Rixen USA at Quiet Waters.
