Comcast will hold a job fair Wednesday in Miramar to fill more than 50 openings for sales positions at the call-center location.

The telecommunications company said it is looking for both English and Spanish bilingual job candidates.

Two interview sessions are available to choose from: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Comcast’s Miramar call center, 2601 SW 145th Ave., Suite 100.

Those interested should reserve an appointment time by sending an email to FLHires@comcast.com that includes their contact information, resume and which session they would like to attend.

Comcast asked that those attending either session bring multiple copies of their resume to be considered by hiring managers.

Compensation is based on experience and performance, according to Comcast Florida spokeswoman Cindy Arco. After initial training, sales people also are eligible for commissions, she said. Comcast also offers its workers health insurance, free Xfinity television and internet services for employees in serviceable areas, 401K match, and an employee stock purchase program.

On its careers website, jobs.comcast.com, Comcast also lists new postings for a senior human resource manager and human resource generalist in Miramar.

Philadelphia-based Comcast Corp. also owns news and entertainment network company NBC-Universal.
