Report: Sunrise strip club suing Stormy Daniels

Goldfinger Gentlemen’s Club is suing adult star Stormy Daniels for allegedly breaching a contract after she backed out of two performances last December at the Sunrise club.

“We felt that Ms. Clifford breached her contract with Goldfinger by failing to perform and we are availing ourselves of all remedies under the contract,” Goldfinger attorney Louis J. Terminello told WTVJ-Ch. 6. Daniels’ real name is Stephanie Clifford.

Terminello is with the Miami law firm Greenspoon Marder. The NBC station reported that the contract between the club and Daniels “called for her to pay the strip club $10,000 if she willfully failed to appear.”

Daniels announced on her Instagram account in December that she canceled her two performances at Goldfinger because the club’s owner referred to her assistant with an anti-gay slur. In the post, she also said that she canceled after the owner reportedly requested that she perform in the club’s VIP area.

“That kind of abuse will not be tolerated,” she wrote in the Instagram post, adding that performing in the VIP area was not part of her contract. “Now they are saying I no showed.”

In the post, she also flipped her middle finger to the camera. At the time, the club’s owner used Instagram to deny Daniels’ allegations and asserted that she was in breach of her contract, according to the gossip and entertainment site TMZ. Terminello did not respond for a request for comment on the suit, which, WTVJ reported, was filed Monday. Daniels’ counsel could not be reached for comment.

The Sunrise shows were one of several scheduled performances in South Florida for the adult star after she revealed to CBS’s “60 Minutes” in March 2018 that she had an affair with President Donald J. Trump in 2006.
