PATRICIA ANN (PELL) HUNTER, 85 went to be with the Lord on August 9, 2019. She was born in Hollywood, Florida on May 7, 1934.

She was the daughter of Dr. Byron Pell and Mildred Pell of Hollywood, FL.

Her father was the first dentist who opened a practice in Hollywood.

She was married to the late Edward T Hunter for 63 years. He practiced law in Hollywood at Hunter & Hunter, PA for over 50 years. She is survived by daughter, Donna Hunter Kirby (Bill) of Hollywood, son, Richard Pell Hunter of Hollywood, grandson, William Patrick Kirby, II, (Stacie), greatgrand­sons, Hunter Dean Kirby and Jaxson Lee Kirby of Murfreesbo­ro, Tennessee, granddaugh­ter, Karolyn Kirby Dash (Sheldon) of Lauderhill and grandson, Mark Hunter Kirby (Ansley) of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, greatgrand­son, Paxton Hunter Kirby and a great-grandchild due in March 2020. She also survived by her loving sister-in-law, Patricia Pell Sullivan of Hollywood, several nieces and nephews as well as many wonderful friends.

Mrs. Hunter enjoyed all sports and loved attending the Miami Dolphins’ and Marlins’ games, but mostly cherished watching her grandchild­ren playing sports in their younger years. She loved weekends away at Indian Hammock in Okeechobee which was a retreat to relax, have fun with family and friends.

In her earlier years, she was involved in Children’s Home Society of Broward County (68-71); she was also selected “Cook of the Month” with Hollywood SunTattler newspaper Southern Cooking for her special fried chicken recipe. She was a devoted homemaker, wife and mother and known for her specialty, chocolate cake and brownies.

She was a member of Pro Athlete Outreach, and the First Presbyteri­an Church of Hollywood. She was a member of The Gideon Internatio­nal Group-Broward South Camp in Hollywood.

A memorial service will be held in her honor at the

First Presbyteri­an Church, 1558 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, FL on August 31, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
