For convenience, we will publish this summary box every day through Early Voting, which began Saturday in Broward and Palm Beach counties, and ends March 15. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Democratic presidential primary

Joe Biden: Democrats want, need and deserve a candidate known not for anger, but for accomplishments; for humility, not hostility; and for decency, not demagoguery. That man is former Vice President Joe Biden.

Broward County

Pembroke Pines Mayor: Frank Ortis is the better choice, largely because of his temperament and leadership style.

Pembroke Pines, District 2: Jay Schwartz, the incumbent, has shown he’s willing to take on powerful people to safeguard the interests of Pines residents.

Lighthouse Point Mayor: Glenn Troast, the incumbent, has a proven track, and his opponent makes an unpersuasive case that he’s a better fit.

Lauderdale-by-the-Sea Mayor: Chris Vincent, the incumbent, is a knowledgeable and experienced leader who’s keeping the city on the move.

Palm Beach County

Boca Raton: Mayor Scott Singer has performed capably as mayor and previously as city commissioner.

Delray Beach, Seat 2: Commissioner Bill Bathurst is smart, reasonable and appears unflappable among four candidates.

Delray Beach, Seat 4: Commissioner Shirley Johnson cares about the city and in ensuring diversity on the commission in this threeperson race.
