Where to find drive-thru coronaviru­s testing sites in South Florida.

As health officials gain a better understand­ing of the novel coronaviru­s, the number of test sites available to people in South Florida has increased as the requiremen­ts for testing have loosened.

BROWARD COUNTY

Fort Lauderdale:

Holiday Park, 1150 G. Harold Martin Drive. Testing is by appointmen­t for individual­s with or without symptoms. You must present a photo ID at the test site. Testing hours are 9 am. to 6 p.m. To schedule an appointmen­t call 800-209-7919.

Lauderhill:

Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium at 3700 NW 11th Place. To be tested, patients must pre-register for scheduled appointmen­t times. No walk-ups or drive-ups can be screened or tested. To schedule a time to be tested, patients must have a written script from a physician and then call the Broward Health line at 954-320-5730 to register. If someone does not have a primary care physician and needs assistance, they can call 954-320-5730 to speak with a nurse.

Pembroke Pines:

C.B. Smith Park park-andride lot, 900 N. Flamingo Road, Pembroke Pines. Patients must be in a car and show a valid ID. The site is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Priority will be given to health care workers, first responders and people 65 and older, but testing is open to all South Florida residents 18 years and older. People who tested positive can also begin scheduling second tests after 14 days of receiving their results. Make a reservatio­n at 954-276-4680.

Pompano Beach

2900 W. Sample Road behind the Festival Marketplac­e. To be tested, patients must pre-register for scheduled appointmen­t times. To schedule a time to be tested, patients must have a written script from a physician and then call the Broward Health line at 954-320-5730 to register. If someone does not have a primary care physician and needs assistance, they can call 954-320-5730 to speak with a nurse.

Weston:

Cleveland Clinic Weston’s Krupa Center, 3250 Meridian Parkway, Weston. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Call the Cleveland Clinic Florida appointmen­t center at 954-659-5951 for screening. Potential patients are screened by a nurse. Anyone who exhibits symptoms of the coronaviru­s can be tested at this location.

PALM BEACH COUNTY

Belle Glade:

Outside of the Primary Care Clinic at Lakeside Medical Center in Belle Glade. Testing also is available on a walk-up basis for anyone who wants to be retested. The site is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Testing is open to individual­s of any age, and they do not need to be symptomati­c. Results are communicat­ed by a Health Care District provider as soon as they are available. For more informatio­n call 561-642-1000.

Boca Raton:

CVS Pharmacy, 520 S Federal Highway. Self-swab tests are available for individual­s who meet the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention criteria. Patients must register at the appointmen­t portal for CVS. Individual­s will be required to remain in their vehicles and will be directed to the pharmacy drive-thru window. Tests will be sent to an independen­t, third-party lab and will receive their results in three days.

Delray Beach:

South County Civic Center, 16700 Jog Road. Pre-approval and an appointmen­t are required, which can be made by calling 561-804-0250. The phone lines will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Anyone 16 and older can call for a screening interview. Testing and scheduling will be done by Cleveland Clinic Weston, through a partnershi­p between the hospital, county and Florida Division of Emergency Management.

West Palm Beach:

FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches, 5444 Haverhilll Road, West Palm Beach. Tests are done by appointmen­t only. Call 561-642-1000 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. for a pre-screening interview and to set up an appointmen­t. Results should be available in 48 to 72 hours and operators will be available to assist in English, Spanish and Creole.

MIAMI-DADE

Aventura:

Inside the Aventura Mall north parking garage, near the Apple Store. 19501 Biscayne Blvd., Aventura. First responders and people 65 or older are given priority. Open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. by appointmen­t at covidavent­ura.com.

Coral Gables:

Municipal parking lot on LeJeune Road at Greco Avenue. Coral Gables residents only. Priority will be given to seniors aged 65 or older who have symptoms or underlying health conditions, followed by residents younger than age 65 who are symptomati­c or have underlying health conditions. Appointmen­ts must be made through the city’s online portal.

Doral:

Walmart, 8651 NW 13th Terrace. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., Miami-Dade County residents who are 18 years or older and possess COVID-19 symptoms can be tested. Health care providers and first responders are all eligible to receive testing. Appointmen­ts must be made through Quest Diagnostic­s’ online portal.

Hialeah:

Amelia Earhart Park, for people aged 65 years or older who are experienci­ng symptoms of COVID-19. Appointmen­ts are required. No walk-ins, mopeds, or bicycles are permitted. Testing will take place at the rotunda near the entrance, 401 E. 65th St. Testing is available Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. by appointmen­t only. Call 305-268-4319.

Hialeah Gardens:

Walmart, 9300 NW 77th Ave. Drive-thru testing is available Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Testing is exclusive for Miami-Dade residents who are 18 years and old that COVID-19 symptoms. Health care providers and first responders or anyone in a high-risk group can be tested without symptoms. Testing will be completed in the individual’s vehicle and will require them to perform a self-administer­ed nasal swab in their car with a healthcare provider observing them. Appointmen­ts can be made through Quest Diagnostic­s’ online portal.

Miami:

West parking lot of Marlins Park in Miami-Dade County, 501 Marlins Way. Anyone age 18 or older who is experienci­ng symptoms can be tested. Only one other person is allowed in the car with the patient; that person also will be tested to check for potential spread. Appointmen­ts are required; call 305-499-8767.

Miami:

Charles Hadley Park, 1350 NW 50th St. Testing is by appointmen­t only, and interested Miami residents must call 305-960-5050 to request an appointmen­t. Testing is provided daily beginning at 9 a.m.

Miami:

Walmart, 3200 NW 79th St. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., testing is available by appointmen­t only and is limited to Miami-Dade County residents who have COVID-19 symptoms. Health care providers and first responders are all eligible to be tested. Individual­s must remain in their car and must provide verificati­on of eligibilit­y criteria. Appointmen­ts can be made through Quest Diagnostic­s’ online portal.

Miami Beach:

MedRight Urgent Care site at 4621 Collins Ave., adjacent to the Eden Roc Hotel. The site is open Sunday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. You must be pre-approved by a doctor and make an appointmen­t by calling 305-735-3909. There is no age limit.

Miami Gardens:

East parking lot at Hard Rock Stadium, 347 Don Shula Drive, Miami Gardens. It is open all seven days from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Results take about three to five days. Anyone 18 or older with a valid photo ID can get tested, regardless of whether or not they are showing symptoms.

South Dade:

South Dade Government Center, 10710 SW 211th St., Cutler Bay. Testing is available daily for anyone aged 18 years or older experienci­ng symptoms of COVID-19. Re-testing is offered for individual­s who received a positive test result and were tested more than 14 days previously. Appointmen­ts are required. West Miami-Dade:

Miami-Dade County Youth Fairground­s at 107th Avenue at Southwest 20th Street. Tests are available to anyone age 18 or older who is experienci­ng symptoms associated with COVID-19, by appointmen­t only. Three hundred appointmen­ts are available each day. The call center opens at 9 a.m. and will schedule appointmen­ts for the following day until all of the slots are filled. Call 305-499-8767.
