Durant out at least 3 weeks with injury

The Suns say Kevin Durant has a sprained left ankle after slipping on the floor during pregame warmups Wednesday night and will be re-evaluated in three weeks.

The hope was the 34-year-old 13-time All-Star star wouldn’t miss much time, but now it appears he’ll be out until April.

If that’s the case, the Suns will have just five more games until the playoffs start.

Durant has played in just three games — all on the road — since coming to the Suns in a blockbuster trade with the Nets.

The Suns have looked like a juggernaut in the three games Durant has played, winning all of them. The talented starting lineup also included Chris Paul, Booker, Deandre Ayton.

Former Sonics star Shawn Kemp acted in self-defense when he exchanged gunfire in a Washington parking lot while trying to retrieve a stolen cell phone and other items, his attorneys said. NFL: The NFL announced that the Texans lost their pick in the fifth round of this year’s draft and must pay a $175,000 fine for a salary cap reporting violation involving QB Deshaun Watson. A review by the league determined the Texans provided Watson with undisclosed compensation in the form of a membership at an alternate athletic facility in 2020. Watson spent his first five seasons with the Texans before being traded to the Browns a year ago.
