AUDREY LOU HUNTER

Audrey Lou Hunter passed away on July 2, 2018 in Irving, Texas. A memorial service was held in Arlington, Texas on July 14, 2018. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday October 24, 2020 at the Roscoe Cemetery with David Draper, of First Baptist Church Roscoe officiatin­g and under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home. Audrey was born in Roscoe, Texas to Harvid and Bertha Hunter. She grew up in Roscoe and later lived and worked in Sweetwater, Texas before moving to Dallas, Texas. Audrey began working in accounting while going to college and later earning a bachelor’s degree. She moved to Irving, Texas and later Coppell, Texas and remained in the area where she continued a long career in accounting. Audrey truly loved spending time with her family and she is dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents Harvid and Bertha Hunter, her brothers Roy, Arnold, Archie and Howard and her sister Thelma. Audrey was survived at the time by her sisters Eula Mae, who has since passed, and her sister Sheila Sue Sanford, along with numerous nieces and nephews. EULA MAE HUNTER

Willow Park, TX – Eula Mae Hunter, 75, passed away on September 1, 2020 in Willow Park, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday October 24, 2020 at the Roscoe Cemetery with David Draper, of First Baptist Church Roscoe officiatin­g. Burial will follow under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home. Eula Mae was born in Roscoe, Texas to Harvid and Bertha Hunter. She grew up in Roscoe, Texas and graduated from Roscoe High School as Valedictor­ian. Following high school, Eula Mae attended some college before beginning her career in banking. She continued to live in Roscoe for many years while working in banking in Sweetwater, Texas before moving to Irving, Texas and later Coppell, Texas. Eula Mae remained in the area where she continued a long career in banking. Eula Mae was loving and loyal and she was happiest spending time with her family and she will be greatly missed. Eula Mae was preceded in death by her parents Harvid and Bertha Hunter, her brothers Roy, Arnold, Archie and Howard and her sisters Thelma and Audrey. CLIFTON EARL GRIFFITH

Clifton Earl Griffith, age 61, passed away on Tuesday, October 20th, 2020.

Family Visitation is planned for Friday, October 23rd, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Saturday, October 24th, 2020 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church, Snyder, TX with Rev. David Strunk officiatin­g, assisted by Rev. Allan Lane and Rev. Bruce Hess. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Snyder Cemetery.

JIMMIE RUTH KENNEDY

Jimmie Ruth Kennedy, age 88, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Lamar Street Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Norton and Dale Finch officiatin­g.

Burial will follow at Roscoe Cemetery. Arrangemen­ts are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, October 24, 2020 from 4:00 - 6:00 P.M.

Jimmie was born on January 17, 1932 in Texas to James and Leona Ruth (Williams) Spence. She married the love of her life, Jack David Kennedy on January 5, 2003 at Lamar Street Baptist Church. She worked as a teacher and counselor for West Central Texas Shared Services Arrangemen­t. She was a member of Lamar Street Baptist Church where she played piano frequently. She was also a member of the Retired Teachers Associatio­n, Sweetwater Lions

Club, BPOE DOES and Good Sams Club. She also played piano for the Men’s Downtown Bible Class and other places. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Pearse and husband Barry of Brentwood, Tennessee, step-daughter, Elaine Rascoe of Sweetwater, Texas, and Kim White and husband Mac of Richardson, Texas, grandchild­ren, Ashley Hughes and husband Josh, Brook Pearse and wife Emily, Sonya Davison and husband Tim, Damon Rascoe, and David Rascoe and wife Montana, numerous great grandchild­ren, great great grandchild­ren and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Ruth Spence, husband, Jack David Kennedy, step-daughter, Jackie Creed, sister, Melba Jo Weaver, and brother, Gay Lamar Spence.

Pallbearer­s will be Jim Spence, Charlie Nash, Tim Davison, Garrett Davison, Zach Davison, and Daniel Mendoza. Honorary pallbearer­s will be Deacons of Lamar Street Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sweetwater Lions Club, Hendrick Hospice or charity of one’s choice.

FRANCES JOY (MARTH) RICHBURG

Frances Joy (Marth) Richburg, age 83, of Roscoe passed away, Friday, October 23, 2020 at Hoyt Place in Sweetwater. Arrangemen­ts are pending with McCoy Funeral Home.
