The Iceman Cometh
Sweetwater awoke to a covering of ice this morning. It was enough to make the roads slick, windshields iced over and some tempers red hot. There will be a freeze and ice storm warning until 1 p.m. today. This will be followed by a wintry mix with a high of 33. New ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible. Tonight will see a low of 31 degrees. The winter storm warning will continue overnight into Wednesday. Wednesday will see a high of 46 with rain or freezing rain before 8 a.m., then a chance of rain between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.. High near 46. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no ice accumulation expected.
