SNCHD is still administer­ing Covid-19 Vaccine

The Sweetwater-Nolan County Health Department (SNCHD) is offering the Moderna Bivalent vaccine on a walk-in basis. Our hours are between 8:30 and 11:00 and 1:00 to 4:00, Monday through Friday for the Covid vaccine. These vaccines are at no cost to you. For those who wish to follow the case counts, please visit cdc.gov or dshs.texas.gov. These websites offer not only case counts by county, but also other great informatio­n on Covid vaccines and symptoms of Covid. We are currently out of the Covid primary dose vaccine.

We are currently administer­ing the flu vaccine from 8-11:30 and 1-4:30 on a walk-in basis to children under 18 years of age. We do not accept private insurance for flu vaccines. The cost of a vaccine if you are privately insured is $25.00. We are out of adult flu vaccine.

Staff from Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital will be at the Sweetwater Nolan County Health Department on Thursday, March 23rd from 8 a.m. to 11:30 am to provide free fecal occult screening kits for the public..
