Carroll Lee Kearney, 85, lifelong resident of Sweetwater, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at his residence. His wishes were cremation. A public memorial graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 7, 2024 at Palava Cemetery with Pastor Carter Edmondson officiatin­g. Inurnment will follow directed by McCoy Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Bethel Assembly Church.

Tommy Roy Craver, 75, of Sweetwater Texas, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024. Funeral services will be Tuesday April 30,2024 at 10am at McCoy Chapel of Memories. Loran Rule will be officiatin­g. Visitation will be on Monday April 29,2024 from 6:00-8:00 pm at McCoy Funeral Home. Interment will follow funeral service at

Tommy was born in Nolan County to Thomas Gibbs Craver and Louise Marie Ferguson. Tommy graduated from Sweetwater High School and lived in Sweetwater most of his life. He was a jack of all trades and was as comical and witty as they come, with jokes as big as Texas and a laugh as contagious as the flu. Tommy worked for Sweetwater Ready Mix for many years and also transporte­d railroader­s for PTI and Hallco. He had a rough texture and a big heart. He married the love of his life in 1976. Tommy and Sandy were married until 1990 and were back together again in 2021. His last wishes were to be buried next to Sandy at the Colorado City Cemetery.

Tommy was survived by Son: Eric Craver and wife Jessica, Stepdaught­er: Brandi Owens and fiancé Kelley Hallstead. 9 Grandkids: Robert Craver, Alexis Craver, Madison Craver, Natalie Craver, Kelsea Craver, Reghan Talamantez, Caitlin Parker-Vicars, Paytin Pinder, Ethan Martin and 1 sister: Vickie Broadwell. Tommy was proceded in death by both parents Tom and Lucy Craver and wife Sandy Claxton Craver.

Pallbearer­s will be: Tom Williams, Beau Stearns, Shelton Waldon, Jody Moody, Seth Parker-Vicars, Chad Conlee.

Our loving Husband, Dad and Papa, Sammy Allen Flint 77, passed away into the arms of Our Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 25,2024. He was born on November 9,1946 in Sweetwater, Tx. to Elmer and Carrie Dee (Clark) Flint. He was a 1964 Graduate of Sweetwater High School. Dad served in the U.S. Army for 2 years stationed in Germany and worked as a lineman. He married Rita Fellers on 8/30/69. Sammy worked for Rose & Son Constructi­on for many years operating a crane, which he was the best at. He ran his own fencing and backhoe company for many years, placing fence line around Sweetwater and surroundin­g areas. He was a great man of integrity, grit, hard work and loyalty. The absolute strongest Man we know. He could fix anything with his two hands, loved working on cars, trucks making them run too fast ! He loved hunting and camping with his Family and Grandkids, especially around Thanksgivi­ng. Dad was the King of BBQ! His ribs and brisket were out of this world. If you had the chance to eat a bite you’d agree. One of his sayings that always made us laugh was this “I’m the Magnificen­t WOOO!” Dad always made us laugh til our bellies hurt and we will miss that every day. Out of all he loved, he loved his precious, loving wife Rita Flint of 54 years the most. He loved his children and grandchild­ren so much. He is survived by his wife Rita Flint, daughters Tonya Baker of Granbury, Tx., Candy Flint of Sweetwater, Tx and Tami Hindman and husband (Sonny Hindman) of Weatherfor­d Tx. He has 8 grandchild­ren whom he adored and taught many of life lessons to. Ashley Matthews of Granbury Tx, Brianna Clark of Sweetwater Tx, Amanda Brawley of Haslet Tx, Hunter Clark of San Angelo TX, Stephen of glen rose, Autumn Clark of San Angelo Texas, Jaylee Hindman of Weatherfor­d TX, and Bella Clark of Sweetwater Texas. Sister Diane Ellison of Hobbs nm, Jerry and Riney Flint of Washington. Also has great grands, many nephews, nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Flint, mother, Carrie, D Flint, brother, Jimmy Flint, and sister sugar Alvarez. Heaven has a bright new star now. You are loved beyond measure. A visitation will be at McCoy Funeral Home from 6-8pm Saturday, April 27, 2024 and military graveside services will be held at Garden of Memories at 3pm Sunday, April 28, 2024 with Rev.
