Stallion Springs Community Services District.

The meeting is set to begin with a closed session at 5:30 p.m. The open session is planned for 6 p.m. It will be held at district headquarters, 27800 Stallion Springs Drive in Stallion Springs. The grand jury report was released on Jan. 16 and response by the district is required within 90 days. A draft response was not available at the time this was published.

The report noted that the grand jury’s investigation was in response to complaints from residents.

Matters related to the district’s wastewater treatment plant, increased operational costs and other matters were among concerns detailed in the report.

When the report was released, General Manager Laura Lynne Wyatt said that she was not employed by the district at the time of the grand jury’s inquiry and needed time to become familiar with the report.

Other items on the agenda include resolutions establishing road, water and sewer assessment charges for the fiscal year that will begin July 1 — and a resolution continuing an enhanced weed abatement program.

The agenda is online at stallionspringscsd.com.
