Murray nets 100th career goal in Highlander victory over Nipmuc

Field hockey

Doherty 5, Nipmuc 0: Hannah Murray earned her 100th career goal as the Highlander­s (4-0) picked up a home win over the Warriors (2-0-3). Teammate Amelia Felecitti had a goal and assist, and Ava White scored twice. Lucia Smachetti, Sarah Defusco and Casey Coyle had assists. Brenna McGuire had three saves to post the shutout.

Auburn 3, Marlboroug­h 2: Maeve Whittemore had a goal and assisted on sister Ainsley’s first varsity goal, and Saige Sandberg also scored as the visiting Rockets (4-0-3) edged the Panthers. Avery Horrigan (assist) and Ava Pascarelli tallied for Marlboroug­h (1-4-1).

Algonquin 4, Sutton 0: Annelise Gingrich, Meredith Wu (assist), Lindsey Brown and Sylvia Zelnick scored, and Taylor Mieth had two assists as the host Titans (5-1-1) defeated the Suzies (3-2). Anna Belville posted her fourth shutout of the season.

Shepherd Hill 5, Bay Path 2: Senior Bianca LaTulippe had two goals and two assists, senior Heidi Jarosz collected a goal and assist, and junior Alexis Warren also scored as the visiting Rams (2-3-1) defeated Bay Path (0-5-1). Shepherd Hill eighth grader Mayah Philion scored her first career goal.

Tahanto 1, Littleton 0: Mihika Chalasani scored with 5:21 left in the first quarter, with Sarah Joseph assisting, and the host Stags (3-2-1) held off the Tigers (05-1).

Quabbin 3, Quaboag 1: Farrah Wojick, Mady Breault and Makenzie Casey scored to lift the host Panthers (4-1-1). Josie Hescaock scored off a corner in the third quarter for the Cougars (3-2).

Nashoba 3, Westboroug­h 0: Meg Hourihan scored her first two varsity goals, and Laura DiTullio capped the scoring for the host Wolves (2-5). Val Michel (8 saves) registered the shutout.

South 2, Blackstone-Millville 1: Kylie Wetteland netted both goals to help the host Colonels (3-2) edge the Chargers (02-1). Mia Riley scored for BMR.

Girls soccer

AMSA 2, Maynard 1: Freshman Angelina DaSilva scored after assisting on classmate Brooke Laudate’s goal as the host Eagles (5-2) topped the Tigers (41-2).

Parker Charter 3, St. Bernard’s 1: Emma Petricca scored all three goals to lift the visiting Panthers (2-4). Amanda Roy tallied for the Bernardian­s (1-4).

Leicester 6, Oxford 2: Alexis Mercier and Alexa Butler each scored twice to lift the visiting Wolverines (2-1-1, 1-1-1 SWCL) past the Pirates (1-5, 1-4). Abby Baker and Hannah Kularski added goals for Leicester.

Auburn 7, Doherty 0: Natalie Frazier and Zhunay Moulton (2 assists) each had a hat trick, and Molly Hilditch posted two assists as the host Rockets (5-1-1) blanked the Highlander­s (5-1-1).

Hopedale 2, Shepherd Hill 2: Nicolina Holland and Shayley Szela scored for host Shepherd Hill (2-3-2) in the tie. Anneliese Pinto had the goals for the Blue Raiders (1-2-1).

Millbury 3, Notre Dame 0: Elena Mimo, Mila Nikiforow and Sarah Boulanger tallied as the host Woolies (6-0) defeated the Rebels (1-2). Ashleigh Lagor made four saves in the shutout.

Nipmuc 3, South 0: Kyah Montano had two goals and an assist, Abby Mullins also scored with an assist, and Mia Herron posted the shutout for the host Warriors (3-1-1).

Trivium 4, Keefe Tech 3: Cara Contonio, Jane Dillon tallied twice, and Cara Contonio and Marie Scheurer also scored to lift Trivium.

Whitinsvil­le Christian 4, Uxbridge 0: Kate Crowley and Hannah Lashley each had a goal and assist, and Amanda Cinelli and Meadow O’Connell also scored as the visiting Crusaders (7-0) blanked the Spartans (2-4).

Boys soccer

South 1, Quaboag 0: Oscar Rivas scored off a feed from Edwin Rivas as the visiting Colonels (4-1-1) edged the Cougars (2-3-1). Felix Afutu made six saves to preserve the shutout.

Maynard 2, AMSA 0: Alex Mendez assisted on both goals by Chris Wilkins, and the host Tigers (3-3) turned back the Eagles (5-2).

Millbury 10, Southbridg­e 0: Eighth graders Kellen Corey (2 goals) and Josh Silviera, and freshman Andy Nguyen scored their first career goals as the visiting Woolies (4-0-1, 4-0-1 SWCL) blanked the Pioneers (0-5, 0-2). Hunter LaPlante posted the shutout.

Uxbridge 0, Whitinsvil­le Christian 0: Thatcher Kling made seven saves for host Uxbridge (1-4-2), and Caleb Deters turned aside four shots for Whitinsvil­le

Christian (3-2-1).

Ayer-Shirley 3, Abby Kelley 0: Arthur Ribeiro, Santiago Cruz and Kevin Velazquez scored as the visiting Panthers (4-2-1) defeated the Bears (1-2-1). Griffon Cotter posted the shutout.

Grafton 2, Hopedale 2: Hudson Terando scored both goals for host Hopedale (3-3-1) in the tie. Jeremy Kim tallied for Grafton (5-0-1), whose other score was an own-goal.

Bartlett 4, St. Paul 0: Adam Phillips scored twice, while Adrian Tetzner and Kwadwo Agyemang added goals as the visiting Indians (2-3-2) blanked the Knights (1-5). Kole Sebastyans­ki collected his second shutout of the season.

Leicester 4, Oxford 2: Dylan Delage scored twice, and Will Panepinto and Connor Parke also tallied for the host Wolverines (3-2-1, 3-1-1 SWCL).

Assabet 175, Worcester Tech 210: Cody Pare carded a 2-over 38 at Green Hill as the visiting Aztecs (3-1-1, 3-1-1 Colonial) defeated the Eagles (0-5, 0-5).

Auburn 169, Whitinsvil­le Christian 188: Landon Connor shot a 5-over 41 at Pakachoag as the host Rockets (9-0) defeated the Crusaders (3-4).

Leicester 180, Oxford 249: Caden Burkes carded a 43 at Leicester CC as the host Wolverines (4-2, 4-2 SWCL) topped the Pirates (0-7, 0-7).

Tantasqua 164, Shepherd Hill 195: Sophomore Sam Pieczynski shot 1-under 35 at Hemlock Ridge to lift the host Warriors (5-2).

Douglas 176, Doherty 202: Andrew Hogan shot 1-over 37 and twin brother Will posted 39 as the visiting Tigers (3-3) prevailed at Green Hill.

Littleton 28, Bromfield 26: Ryan Johnson shot 41 at Groton CC to lift the host Tigers (5-1, 4-1 Mid-Wach C). Evan Piekos carded 43 for the Trojans (4-1, 2-1).
