MARY COSTON

Mary Marie Coston, 90, went to meet her lord and Saviour on Friday, December 28, 2012.

Born March 22, 1922 to Albert M. and Clara M. Jones in Bloomburg, Texas. She was an excellent student and graduated from North Heights High School in 1940. She married Alton W. Coston in April 2, 1942.

Preceded in death by her husband Alton Wayne Coston and a grandson Alton Eugene Coston.

Survivors are two sons and daughter-in-law Phillip and Dianne Coston of Corpus Christi, TX., Kevin Eugene Coston of Allen, TX; one brother and sister-in-law Jesse L. and Pauline Jones of Bright Star, AR; two granddaughters and grandsonJennifer and Patrick Terramiggi of Katy, TX. and Jakki Coston of Houston, TX; two grandsons and granddaughterin-law Micah and Sophia Coston of Katy, TX. and Brandon Coston of Allen, TX; one granddaughter Kimberly Coston of Allen, TX; five great grandchildren plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary was a life long Texarkana resident and retired in 1989 from Red River Army Depot after 45 years of dedicated service. She displayed this same level of dedication to her family and friends. Mary loved the Lord, her children, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, extended family, church family and many friends. As a Beech Street First Baptist Church member since 1929, she enjoyed the camaraderie of her Sunday school class, the Golden Rule, and her bible study group, Lydia.

Mary enjoyed a full life and loved to help others in anyway possible. She cheerfully supported numerous local and national charitable organizations. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Graveside funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Craig Jenkins officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Texarkana Baptist Orphanage or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
